###### Bio:

##### Attend now the sad tale of Strigandr, torn from his home and thirsty for battle.

Far to the north live the cold-blooded man of Asgard, the Nordheimers who make their living from fields of ice. This azure-eyed warrior was weaned in the great village of Lolinok, between the impassable mountains and the frigid tundra. These fierce barbarians make their way by raiding the neighboring kingdoms, but sometimes these enemies raid them as well.

The great wooden hall of Lolinok burned under the torches of Hyperborean slavers while most of the warriors were chasing the great reindeer herds that race across the tundra. Those who survived the raid were either put to the sword or taken for slavery in the meager fields of Hyperborea.

Few survived the raid and many died along the forced march. Ten years later, only a handful survived the harsh slave conditions imposed upon them. One of these was Strigandr, who almost blossomed in toiling for cruel masters. Strong of arm and deadly of countenance, the jovial youth laughed when he finally crushed the life from slavemaster who had tormented him.

But no man escapes the eyes of the Hyperborean lords, who sold the youth and ensured that he would be used as an arena fighter. No one expected the youth to survive. Instead, he was supposed to serve as a sacrificial lamb to test the readiness of trained fighters â€“ all of whom fell before his blade. Shipped from territory to territory to entertain the masses, Strigandrâ€™s laughter and mirth made him popular in the arena.

Despite being bloodied and bruised from the constant barrage, the smile of this barbarian of the north shows that he remains a true child of Aesgard. Freedom will be his, but for now Strigandr is content wetting his sword with the blood of his opponents.
